Black Girls Like UsTechnically, I do belong to this genre/generation. The jury's still out, though. I mean, she talks about Justin Timberlake, who, as any angry black woman knows, is no friend to the sistas. Hello? Janet?
On the site they mention being really mad at BET. But what Timberfake did wasn't exploitive? Selling J out to remain an Emmy performer? Then to try to apologize under cover of darkness after the Golden Performance? Um? American history lessons abound in that.
So, we'll see.

LOL! This is Toya from Black Girls Like Us. I don't know the last time you read but Justin Timberlake is now referred to as Your Boy. I refuse to mention his name anymore because a)I can't stand him BECAUSE of the Janet situation and B) he gets too much press as it is. Check out my Grammy recap if you'd like for further details.
